    Welcome to your versatile venue, the Just Dance Discotheque!

    Why is it versatile? Because it will never look exactly the same on two given days. Not only is it interactive in many different ways, but it is also automated to randomly change color on multiple platforms (color changing script created by Thinkerer Melville).

    USING THE MULTIMEDIA and BUILDING MENU
    To access, click a column on the first floor, or the gold ring around the first floor dance area.

    Owner Only Version means only the Owner can operate these functions. ToucherID option means anyone that touches the controller can make changes.

    (1) MULTIMEDIA
    This venue has five different multimedia video options built into the building. Perfect for streaming dance music or for your DJ. There is even one option that has sound built in. (If you want to use the video and not the audio, instruct your patrons to turn down their media volume slider!)

    When the Multimedia option is turned on, the first floor is totally enclosed to give your patrons the best "underground" dance feel possible. The walls on the outside are phantom so just walk in! There is a door there to help people know they can walk in..but the door is phantom too. It does not open on click.

    VIDEO can be troublesome for some patrons due to computer setup, viewer setup and sim restrictions. The multimedia is achieved using "Media on a Prim" or "MOAP" option. This information will help you if you are trying troubleshoot a user's issue.

    (2) TEXTURED WALLS

    To receive texture choices for your walls (perfect when an event is not running), click a column and choose TEXTURES from the menu. There are 22 texture options from which to choose.

    This option also opens up the layout.

    (3) CLEAR ALL

    To clear all the walls and have a completely open environment, choose CLEAR from the menu.

    INTERACTIVITY for EVERYONE
    ----------------------------------------­------------------
    The floor, ceiling and dome all have interactive menus and can be changed upon touch by anyone. This interactive fun helps your patrons express themselves in a new and fun way!

    AND..you can add your own textures if you like. Simply click on the prim you wish to change (use "edit linked" to make sure that is the only prim you are adjusting) and drop your texture in the CONTENT TAB.

    POSSIBLE UPGRADES

    (1) Additional multimedia packs.

    If interest is shown, additional multimedia video packs will be made available.

    (2) Group Operated Menu.

    Multimedia and Building Menu available for group operation (so hostesses can assist , but not just anyone can change features)..

      The Hypergrid WIP Show

      The Hypergrid WIP is a one hour "show & tell" of works in progress or recently completed. All builders from beginner to pro are invited.  Presentations are in voice and text.  For text presentations, best bring the text in a notecard and paste it into chat.  Voice presentations may be captured in video.  Stills and videos from the show may appear in this blog.
